it rained halfway but after 45 mins of waiting, play was resumed.

We all had a good time. Final amount raised was $4,300 to Autism Association.

Good game y'all. I just got back to JB. Had a lot of fun. GoLagiSlow and Nientsu were awesome and Katherine... well, she's in a class of her own. Killer putting today from her!

A big note of thanks to MC, Sunny, Moon and the rest of the organizing committee for planning what was a remarkable golf tournament today. The first, I hope of many, golf tournaments for Golf Republic. You guys did an amazing job!!!

Thanks also to icebocc for working with WGCC to enable the tournament to be held there. Thanks too to DGMan, Slinger etc for sponsoring the gifts, prizes etc. While I didn't win anything (surprise surprise), it was nice to know that good players were well rewarded

Thanks also to the golfers who turned up today. While the weather was threatening and the rain did come, it didn't damper our spirits to play. I believe that everyone had a great time, we all made new friends (some made money at the expense of friendship ) and best of all, it was for a good cause.

I was impressed before we started, I was impressed while we played and I'm still impressed now. Way to go, Golf Republic!!

Well, from what I heard, The RAGE was trying to impress some lady golfers nearby. He turned it up several notches and the next thing you know... well, a picture speaks a thousand words

my turn to extend appreciation to organizers. sunny was directing my attention to the GR sticker on the goodie bags. i promise not to tear the sticker when opening my bag ok! nice little detailing that made the bag a GR bag.

thanks to my flightmates for the game: ultraman, ssquirrel and jaketang. i think out of the 4 of us, i dare speak up for the other 2, that jaketang is THE buaya to beat. even on 9 toes, he got 2 birdies and several pars.

nice meeting the rest of the GR peeps that i've met for the first time: siaw8, edi, ken, samT, techno, shotah, icebocc, the khees, etc (pardon if i've missed any)

i'm glad, at least, we managed to finish 18 even after our rain/lightning stop. Overall, it's a real nice course...
