How much golf have you done in the last 5 months

Its going to be the start of a fresh 2nd half of 2010!

We have seen the return of Tiger and the fight put up by Phil.

We have also witnessed the one year birthday of GR.

My question: How many 18 holes have you guys played for the last 5 months?

Would be interesting to see how regular the golf siaos in Singapore play the game given that the fact most (if not all) of us are full time employees with family commitments and the usual weekend beer sessions that run into the wee hours of the night.

I try to stretch myself by doing one game per month....equalling at least 12 games a year.....occasionally can clocked additional 1 - 3 more games a year......so per year will be 15 games per year.

so for past 5 months, I played 7 games....( I think I pretty much max out my good shots allocated for this year....sighh....cannot imagine the remaining 6 months)

On average once a week for me. For last 5 mths, think bout 24 games or so.
Time and leave are the main constraints for me.

So 75% of the golfers in GR are very on and finds time to golf that regularly! Way to go!

I think Pak Slicer sets the benchmark for most on golfer: 41 games in 5 months!!

i think i have played almost 2-3 times a week

I guess im not normal as the first two month of 2010 i train in legend ....I play 175 rd already

january : 52 ( 2 week training legend playing at least 3 rd a day)

February : 52 ( 2 week training legend playing at least 3 rd a day)

GULP!!!!! that is like what i can clock across 9-10 years.....

You play 9holes of 18 each time or 18holes of 18?
Do you stay in Johor during your training?

One of the reason that I found more time to play as I am more in my semi retirement now. Furthermore, golf is the best slow exercise for senior citizen except bad for mental

Not to mention, golf prices in Indonesia were really very reasonable.

Golf is such a funny game. You played more does not mean you will play well. I am going for my June 2nd games tomorrow and will join a local golf club tournament on Sunday 6/6. I hope I can post my trophy and share my joy with all bro & sis here. Wish me luck ( I need allot of it for sure )

I should be having a game with you somewhere in Indonesia. I just came back from Bali, played at Bali golf there, but couldn't squeeze in game in Nirwana/New Kuta... such a shame...

How many hours got daylight at Legend?

I golf once a week and sometimes friends chio I'll take leave if I can. My leave is mostly for golf. I always look forward to weekend because that is my golf day.

at start 7am ..... finish 7pm with 30 min break inside ... im member of leged jus 40 rm a rd !!!

even with one ball, i think playing 72 holes a day is not quite possible unless its practically empty, u can be fast, but there will be other flights and most likely will be held up behind flights. then again i have never tried such a stunt so i can't really say, take amazing focus and concentration to play more than 36 holes a day, even the pros during tournaments do not play more than 36 in day due to delays from the prev days.

But playing that many holes in a day, is it really beneficial? i think fatigue sets in, whether mental or physical, as well as the weather in our climate is crazy hot...the chances of suffering heat exhaustion is very high. i am not training to be a pro, but i think even when pushing yourself in excellence, there's something called moderation. i've seen some pros weekly routines, and i think the max i seen was 36 hole a day, and its not back to back, maybe 18 hole then some review, light workout, swing practice before another 18 hole at their home club.

I know I failed my math during my school time.

7 am to 7 pm = 12 hours
54 rounds will be 4 hours per 18 holes
30 min breaks will be 3.45 hours per 18 holes

How you played 72 holes sometime ? Night golf from 7 pm to 11 pm ?

Is that how you pro trained ? or are you " pushing our legs "
