| I have not written equipment reviews of any sort before, but feel compelled to write about my experience while trying out the Zen Proto. Here goes: By the time I got to "the Den", all that was left was DGMan's personal gamer, which he graciously allowed me to test drive. I must admit that at first I was skeptical. I mean, how much difference can a putter make right? My goodness - I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I took my first stroke with the putter. The feedback gave such great pleasure, I could putt my way from tee to green if only the ball travelled further. The next 10 minutes passed quickly, and I found myself rolling in putt after putt. Believe me, this was highly abnormal considering my usual standard of putting. I also noticed that my mishits (ah this, is highly normal...) were still heading straight at the hole. The ball had more roll than with any other putter I've tried - it's as if the ball had millions of tiny legs of its own. Absolutely unbelievable. As a result, I begin to develop a suspicion that DGMan had placed some magnets in those Bridgestone balls. Still, I decided to continue putting for a while since every putt that went in, made me feel more and more like a pro. Then, when DGMan wasn't looking, I sneaked to my bag and pulled out my own ball.. Surely now, the truth would come to light. My first putt goes in the hole... but it must be a fluke. And then another one drops, and another, and another... you've got to be kidding me - no magnets? To convince myself, I aimed away from the hole, and true enough it missed. Wow you can actually miss with this thing. This putter is GOLD folks.. (well, actually it was matt black, but you know what I mean..). If you have even the slightest desire to shave strokes off your score, you owe it to yourself to give this putter a try. Now when I hit the greens, I keep imagining the Zen head at the end of the shaft. But unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be helping. | |

| Today I had the great opportunity to try DGMan's Zen putter on the course for a couple of holes. Very nice roll and the ball seems to hold the line of putt really well. Way better than my own putter. The feel and feedback of the putter was also great.
DGMan was putting excellently with it, I saw the ball rolling nicely towards the hole each time and could see that air of confidence that DGMan had when he was putting with it. Lucky it was just a casual Sun morning game and no bets were involved!
I didn't dare to ask him to let me putt with it more, because I already know that the answer is "not for sale" hahahaa.. | |

| Bob, the F360 is a graphite core with steel fiber coil around the shaft (purportedly 59 miles of them). the technology was jointly developed with Aerotech and made exclusively for Zen.
the frequency on these shafts is higher producing lower "noise" on impact. what it means is a softer muted response on the feedback. however if you like the clicky contact on the putter, this shaft is not for you.
i will be putting down the order for the final Definitive Prototype soon. We were hoping to make it in time for the Orlando show but the manufacturer are busy with a ton of other projects at this point.
So put in your order or else you know what response you will get....
1. Agumon - RH SS black PVD sight dot with black matt F360 shaft 2. poundpuppy - RH SS black PVD sight line with black matt F360 shaft 3. S70B - RH PN Satin with sight dot with satin matt F360 shaft 4. Lamts18 - RH SS black PVD with sightline with black matt F360 shaft
all above heads are 355g.
senmin? birdman? do call or pm me if you need any information.
