Steelfiber has agreed to produce some 125g putter shaft for us to test. this will make things even more interesting and exclusive.

DGman Was that the shaft that I was testing last Saturday? Anyway nice job on the re-shaft of the ZA2, the feedback has definitely improve. Took it out for another 18 hole spin today and immediately felt the difference. Got the feel of the club after the 1st hole and I was putting with confidence all through the round. I am sure this prototype can actually be ready for prime time with that shaft that I tested in it. Folks, I had a chance to try out one of the 6 last Saturday at the den, the mill is not as sharp as the first batch and it is producing quite an awesome feel!!!! ~ icebocc ~

| Out of curiosity, would you keep these putters as part of a collection or do you game them? They look way too pretty to be gamed but I bet they game darn well. | |

| that is done...Rex...do you want me to ship it to you? 34 inch 69 degree lie, ping man black double wrapped?
btw Icebocc....the shaft you have tested is a special graphite shaft wrapped with 59 miles of steel fiber. it is made by Aerotech and we are doing some joint development to test its feasibility as a putter shaft.
we will complete the frequency testing today and i should have the reading versus a regular steel shaft. the way the putter was performing yesterday, i think the shaft will be a big success. In fact CR came in on friday, putted with the same shaft and asked me if he can have it in his ZO. (he is using that putter on tour).
maybe we can ask Aerotech to make the shafts available in different colours.
anyone wants to test, its available at BM for the next few days.

| DGman, no need to ship. I have more putters here than I can handle already! I will collect it from you (eventually next year ). That shaft sounds very interesting...I will think about testing it when I come back. Hopefully, there isn't any 'no stock' at all. Wait till you see my refinished SCs when they come back. I will even post icebocc's before and after too. His baby cost a bomb! | |

| i am sure...SC is making more $$ refurnishing than selling putter...but the guy has everything worked out.
we may go into full production of the shaft once the technical specs is agreed. currently there are only 2 pcs, one is going to UK. hopefully we can produced these by year end.
looking forward to seeing the refurb putters.

TS, never ask a golfer what he does with all his equipment. Anyway, some will be gamed, some won't. It depends on how desperate I am of saving my golf game. DGman, I just re-read your post on the special shaft. I sure hope its not really 59 miles of steel fibre per shaft. Thats alot of steel!!!!

| yes thats 59 miles of steel fiber per shaft...but the fiber is micron in diameter. but for matching, the shaft will go well with the satin or maybe the black chrome putter (not available yet).
for icebocc we simply turn the shaft to strong, instead of neutral and we were able to increase the frequency on the shaft. if we tip the shaft and use neutral, we may achieve the same. better still tip the shaft and get the shaft on strong...thats the next change i will make to test out this theory.
