Retail Model
DGman Anyway, apart from the plants in the background and the angle of the driver it was taken from, I don't see any difference. OK wait, there is! Oh... no... still don't see anything. Oh well, I guess only a true master can tell... like you, DGMan... May the force be with you. [/quote] don't call me Master...there are 2 guys on this forum who calls me Master... one is banned from this forum, the other one is banned from the shop. you will find more about the TP and the retail in due course.. | TFP, i think you still believe that most golf clubs are still made in the USA. At the rate that new models are coming out, i do not think the americans will be able to meet the production.

I was told by a Taylormade guy before they make their heads differently for TP models but then TFP told me otherwise. I sort of believe him because he uses TM products. Guess its always good to hear from an expert.
Still believe in the services now? Good lord, wake up and smell the roses, dude....

Don't get me wrong duffader, you can see the difference for yourself from the pics opus posted. There ARE original TM (and other) products coming out of China that ARE original and you can see the ACTUAL design in the pic with the red background, but the one with the plants in the background... hmm... you decide la..

| Who is Slinger? Anyway, in my opinion, its doesn't matter whether it is TP or non-TP. Fake or Real. As long as it makes you happy, why not. I have seen many golfers in my life, people who use rented clubs and still hit under par, and people who use pro equipment and always have a hard time breaking 90. I just want to tell the forummers here that equipment can only enhance your game, bottom line, its still the fundamentals and understanding of the game that gives you the improvement. | |

| To all the naysayers out there,
look at this link - http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/337126-taylormade-launched-the-new-r9-supertri-on-tour/
Look carefully at the TP Model of the Supertri (as used by Pat Perez, Andres Romero, Mike Weir, Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia etc) you will find the names there.. Does it really look like the head with the plants in the background? I'll leave it up to your good eye to decide...

DGman OK, no, I'm not saying it's fake. None of us are. I guess to set the record straight, I'll print out a copy of your pictures and ask my friends at Taylormade what they think.. Is that ok with you?

| Household items indeed, mate! You know when i passed by this "Vinc-dalooo" shop in Far East, they put the stupid fake SuperTri head on some stupid $3 plastic stool, almost dropped on the floor... Now if it wasn't fake, I'm sure they'd have greater respect for it, no? I mean, being Clubmakers By Passion and all....
Anyway, I'm meeting some of the guys at TM Singapore on Monday, and they'll have a look at the photos and investigate...
My friends (some golf resellers) in the US simply laughed at the blatancy of the fakeness of the club, and wondered how any clubmaker had the balls to post it online... I guess that should sum up some of the 'misleadings' in this forum, as to who's peddling stuff that's obviously been manufactured by cockeyed blue-collared labourers who find it difficult to connect the dots in a pre-school activity book.
Peace, by Passion. | |
