Hahaha, here goes the never ending quest for the better equipment. At my age (22), the only that is stopping me is the $$ problem, i dare not imagine how many sets i will have 10 years from now. The FG59s are really beautiful I must say, IMHO looks a little better than the Srixon ones.

Don't know about that, got to ask shorthitter what he thinks. He's played both, I've played neither Razz

Not cheap, but I believe these are premium irons. Sadly Wilson doesn't have much resale value, and you might want to wait for some to surface in the 2nd hand market.

Depends, both very good, Golf is confidence, if you find a set that suits your eye, you feel confident that is half the game...

I had a few great games with the Pro-100's, therefore they are better Very Happy

But the grooves are not V so they are just paperweights at the moment..... Sad

Paperweights? Never. I'll have em shafted up good at BFG and will be gaming them when we play. Believe me, they will be well-loved Smile

I've already spoken with Eric, and will be bringing back my set of KBS Tour shafts if he doesn't have any used sets in stock. The guy I'm getting my KBS Tour shafts from in the US hasn't shipped my shafts yet, and it looks like I'm going to have to get him to courier it over to SG

I've never been able to play anything with a thick topline and visible offset (e.g. Big Bertha irons, most Callaways, etc), even when I was starting out. Always been a blade man, no idea why. My dad had a set of Ping Zing irons, and I swear, it's just so wrong

Spoke with DGman, he says you can drop it off at BFG next time you pop by and he'll have it prepped and ready for shafting when I get it.

I'm getting sweet dreams about the Pro 100s now....

you know my next project after this is to build a wooden frame to hold PROUDLY 4 sets of blade irons in Singapore, right? Smile

One day, I'm gonna open a 'blade irons' Hall of Fame and dedicate it to DGman -- proof that blade irons are NOT hard to play with.
