I am gaming a Cleveland Launcher and Ping G15, both very characteristics, the G15 feels sweet when struck right, the launcher is easy to launch(pun)

I find the launch easy to hit and launch. Testing TS's launcher now... i better not say too much... i got to return it back to him...

Adam Hybrid is great! especially the ones with weight at the bottom.

I love my Nike Sumo2 hybrids! Great for beginners if you want a long and straight ball flight.. pity its so difficult to find nowadays, looking to replace my 4H but could not find these anymore. Anyone know where I can still get one?

Well, hybrid is as difficult to choose as Driver ..

Guess you will be confuse after reading so much contribution here..

Personally, i think it really boils down to what is your intention an objective :

- if you cannot play longer iron consistently and looking for a hybrid to replace it ?
- if you wanted more distance that your iron ?
- if you wanted to recover from rough with an hybrid ?

Consider the goods points that some bros pointed here with reference to your intention.
Which will then assist you in making the decision whether you wanted a smaller or larger head hybrid (bet you that they play really differently from rough).

Was using cleveland hibore before switching to Adam. Both got its good advantage but I must say for beginner and high handicapper (like me), Adam is forgiving and easy to play but not friendly in rought due to its larger head (unless you get the Pro version which has a is smaller head).

Tried the triangular TM CGB hyrid, very good feel (sort of like bobby jones)..
Oh yes, if you intend to have 2 hybrid then better to get 2 ofthe same kind to give you consistency.

I am using PING Rapture v2. First Hybrid tried. It seems like there is a funny relationship with this clubs, it helps me with my swing path cause, if the swing is not smooth and not right, the weight distribution of the club will have a imbalance feel on hand. Once I got the balls with this club. the rest of the irons and driver will work for me too. So to me it seems like a training club and of course it can be used on game too.

Just wondering anyone got such experience with hybrids?

I didn't like the Fybrid in terms of performance.

I still liked the following hybrids:
Callaway, Mactec, Ping & TaylorMade

personally i prefer the cobra bafflers and them new fangled taylormade ones
launch em nice and easy
so if its the high soft idiotproofgetoutofrough club you need
i'm putting my money behind those!

Im using cleveland Hibore XLS Hybrid. Good distance, very easy to launch and the ball flight is straight. Pretty forgiving, good for beginners like me.

I 2nd the motion, Cleveland is a very forgiving club.

Got a TM Raylor 22* 2 weeks ago and had two rounds with it with the original Stiff shaft. Hooked all the shots. I have to adjust my setup for that the lie angle is flatter and only then will the shots go straight. Frustrated, I thought of selling the club off thinking it was crap. Then an idea struck me. Swap the crossfire shaft from my TM rescue dual with the Raylor. Bingo!

The Raylor plays like a gem now and the ball goes everywhere I point it. Plays brilliantly from the rough and just like any other hybrid from the fairway without digging in. Love it to bits now. Moral of the story is "the right shaft" is critical to the overall playing characteristic of the club. The shaft that came with the Raylor was not suitable for my swing type and swing speed. Now I have a spare rescue dual with the original Raylor shaft to let go if anyone is interested. Have a Diablo 3 wood stiff at the den (BFG) for any interested party as well (shaft also not suitable for me).

Moral of the story is "get fitted"!
