Sure, give me a call. There are great courses here in Melbourne and can be cheap and nice. We always play every other weekend with some exSG ex Malaysia social group.

I am acutally a Singaporean but posted AU for the last 4 years. I always go back once a year. Hope to join GR for a game in Singapore.

Be nice if you clue us in on which courses are good, and which are the affordable public ones as well. Love to be in the know in case I ever head down there.

It will be a long list to share. Most of the public courses are very nice. A$25-$50 18hole is quite reasonable here.

You can try the sand belt courses which is abt 30mins - 1 hr drive down south of melbourne CBD.

The furthest I played is St Andrew Public Golf Course. (not THE St Andrew ok)

When it comes to golf courses, I don't think anyone here minds long lists, esp if it's good affordable golf.
