Subject: How to be a good flight mate Mon Jun 14, 2010 8:27 pm
While I am trying to be a better golfer....I will also want to balance that with being a good flight mate. Some of the things I am doing though not all the time are:
1. When flight mate tee-off, look out for where ball land..to calm any anxiety fm flight mate
2. I often laugh at myself for playing 'ping pong' on the green
3. Drive buggy to flight mate after my turn to hit
4. Lastly, keep my mouth shut if he/she did not ask for tips or keen to know my view
anything else?

i fully agree with 4. keep my mouth shut if he/she did not ask for tips or keen to know my view
i would feel it should be the right way to keep quiet not to comments flightmate during the game.

Help take pics of fren (silently) if he brought a camera along!
Surely he would like to see a couple snaps of him in action.

And good if you can make your flight mate happy by bringing along a couple of chilled beers.
And some extra used balls for frens who like to hit into the water but with egos dictating them to carry only 3 new balls in their bags...

I guess you can also help your flight mate to fill their divot or repair pitch mark on green or remind them nicely to do it....

damn right bro. the only thing better than a round with laughs among friends is a low-scoring round with laughs among friends. Even if the scores are crap, the game would still be enjoyable.

Call out " nice shot " if your mate did hit a good one ... "nice roll" if your mate did a nice putting (although it did not go into the hole. ... if he or she hit a bad shot, said " Wow, I am sorry "
