I would say most golf courses in KL would require handicap. Perhaps the outlying ones may not be so strict..
kelab Golf Seri Selangor is located at Bandar Utama. This is a challenging public course. However, I am not sure if they do match up for single/double golfers. Do get their contact number from the internet and call ahead to check.

Thanks gofnut. I have a PC Card by Modern Golfpro. Not sure if it is recognized by the courses.

Seri Selangor does not require handicap card. Agree with Gofnut that its challenging. Good to bring more balls. Nilai Springs also worth checking out, wide open fairways and less bruising to ego.

Rod,

My Uncle always dared me to play to my handicap at Saujana, he said it's very challenging and good. I haven't got a chance to play there.

Update on my game:

Played at Bukit Kumuning CC instead, as was recommended this is much friendly and really cheap.
I must say the fairway is really wide, issue is those dog leg and sand bunk.
Caddie wise, not much of help on drawing the line on green...
It was Ramadan, thus not much crowd on a Friday afternoon.

Overall an enjoyable afternoon game!
Smile
