So sad... why range can & green can't!!!

alamak... i wanna share the experience with u!!! no way la... i see those uncle damn power de leh... thanks to Paul lor... my bunker and putt was superb... manage to get a par and a close birdie... ball is straight but those 400+ and 500+ i gone case... coz dun have woods, hybrid cannot hit, long iron cant hit...

i double-par those long distance de hole sia... lol...

eh try to come la... i very excited... LOL... change all my grip also... lol...

no la... perhaps the scoring is not correct... i treat those extreme worst case as double par... so my score fake de la... so max score can only be 144.. lol...

i was shivering when i tee-off on 1st few hole... in fact every shot i make for the first few holes...

jake then is the "buaya" la...

jake is a nice guy... trying to play decent.... **correction**

After the sucky green on monday, today went to range to hit some balls...

Sian liao... must go see teacher again...

I think also partly due to the bloody shack work schedule today which cause my body to feel so weak and tired...

I LOVE GOLF but hate work...

Next year must golf more and work less... ha ha ha

I also had trouble going from range to course. RSC help me to think about my whole game and what and how I practice. Very specific to what is needed on course, not on range. My handicap has since dropped from 10 to 7. The short game he teach me was more beneficial than the swing improvements as far as lowering score. The lesson he gave me on hitting off side hill, down hill I highly recommend for all beginner golfers. Good luck jtek

I understand how u feel man. I also faced the same thing yesterday! I had been practicing for the last 2 weeks at the range before my game. I thought I was gonna have a great game as every easy and effortless swing took the ball airborne and straight. I felt very confident and good.

but at the greens, to my horror, my iron shots went all over the place!! None went where I intended them to be. short game was ok though, kept to max 2 chips and 2 putts per hole. But the other shots off the tee and fairway were terrible.. Tee shots ended up like...'piak' then ball fly a few feet in the air forward and landed just a few meters in front. On the fairway nearly all shots were grounders. I would have thought I was playing hockey on a golf course...

What a way to start the week man...totally ruined my mood for the rest of the week!

Wah!!! Today went to Palm Villa and found back my score!!!

Although it is not great score but at least I enjoy the game better than last round...

But been 1.5 years liao still stuck at 110+ so hoping to get better or else might have to change game to snooker liao!!!

My 1st green at Palm Villa after Paul did some improvement on my swing last Sunday!

Still ended up with 117 but this time round, I had got a few PAR on PAR4. Something which I would never see in my green session... Fairway shot still topping a little which is why ended up over 110 again but I love the feeling of 2 on for PAR4!!!

HAPPY MAN!!! Will work harder on the drill Paul gave me... let's hope I can break 100 the next round...

Grats jtek! That's awesome! To break 100 play to your strengths, keep the driver in the bag if its low percentage, and maybe 2 or 3 irons on par 4s, could save you strokes... and balls

I meant to say 2 or 3 x irons, as in maybe 2 x 5iron shots for a par 4. Should be do-able for par 4s in the 300-350m range?

Cuz, say its a 350m par 4, divide that by 2 is 175m.
If you use a driver and pound 250m down you'll still be left with 100m.
Might be higher % to play 2 x irons than 1 x driver + 1 iron.

I dunno, when I play % that's what I do.
My driver sprays are wider than iron sprays, as should be the same for most golfers.

My lowest iron is 4iron, and I tee off with it quite often, unless its 400m par 4s.

You should break 100 in no time bro!
