| All the best folks
And once you gotten your hcp, please practice all your golf etiquette on course
It's rather disappointing to observe seasoned golfers - not raking bunkers - not playing ready golf (drop your buggy mate at his ball while you drive to your ball and get ready to hit your shot) - replace divots - repair pitch marks - don't step over putting lines of playing partners - be conscious of other golfers on course before you scream, laugh or shout - put mobile phones on silent...

| Save some trouble and get a handicap from an online golf handicap company. They will professionally keep your handicap and issue you a handicap card that is recognised in most countries including Singapore. Not necessary to be USGA or EGA to be recognised here. But you still need to submit your score cards for them to verify and calculate your handicap. Golf is a game of integrity, so they expect you to be honest, know the rules and of course have a competent swing (ie, honest with your scorecards). I have 2 cards, one from a Singapore club and the other online. Both are just as valid. | |

| if you drive, try IOI Palm Villa. MYR212 for the HCP fees, and MYR106 for the green fee.
You can submit your scorecard via email and collect your monthly HCP card from them. If not, you can check your HCP via the Malaysia's MGA website.
And as a HCP holder, you get to enjoy a monthly complimentary green (buggy fee payable @ MYR48) with a accompanying guest.
You still have to purchase your own golf insurance.
