Hi Moon, just received details from Bintang Lagoon. How come they are asking for $140 ++ per room? I thought it was $55++ or $110 ++ if taking whole room. As it is shared how come they asked for $140 ++? If they sent out to every individual, especially also to my room mate, that means room rate is $280 ++ per room. Can please explain as I don't want to send my card details yet until this is sorted out? Thanks. Sorry for checking.

Hi Titu,

It is 140++ per room and it is halved if you are sharing.

The 110++ rooms are however not available as we were told recently and I think missmoon wrote it somewhere.

It would be addition 16-17 dollars...

OK understood. So how do they know I am sharing? Do they debit the full $140++ from me or just half ? What is th eamount they will debit from my card. Just want to be sure Sunny. Thanks.

The following arrangement have been sent to bintan lagoon.

Details such as Name (as in passport), Contact No.,Email, Gender, Nationality, DOB Passport No., and Passport Expiry have also been forwarded to Bintan Lagoon Staff.

They will take over the confirmation and collection of payment details job.
The flight arrangement is tentative, you may still swap around to form your preferred flight.
The room arrangement is more or less confirmed. Any changes, the bintan lagoon staff will liaise with you guys directly.

I had a very bad experience during my recent holiday trip to Europe last Dec. Another tour group leader was having dinner and he put his bag with money onto a sit and covered it up with his sweater. After dinner, he went for his bag and found out his bag already got stolen. He quickly call to cancel his credit cards. All this just took about 30/40 minutes from the time he left his bag on the sit to the time he retrieved it. When he make his call to cancel his card, the Credit card company told him his card had already transacted up to a tune of more than $10k within that short period some where else in Europe ! That guy had to bear every dollars that had been used as he called after the card had already been used. After that instant, I am very careful of who i give my card to. Heads up for every one here. Not a small matter. Just have to be very careful with your cards.

That is to prevent no-show and serve as an guarantee for them.

Thats the normal practice when we go bintan even on our own individual trip.

I might be tempted to play morning and if time permits, would also like to go for 2nd round. Thus would appreciate if could play 1st flight. If not, maybe another 9 holes. Next day would like to play Ria Bintan. Do we sort out the Ria Game after we arrived? Thanks.

Yes. We have to get a bus to go there. The number of ppl going to Ria is not big enough for me to negotiate a discount unfortunately

Is the plan to play 27 holes per day? Seems from the email like its going to be 36 on the first and 18 on the second

Its 2 pm onwards bro. But my guess is time will only permit us to play another 9 holes.

There might not be enough time to do 27holes on the 2nd day.
So the arrangement is 2x18 on the first day, 1x18 on the second day.
