Golf Republic 2D1N Trip to Bintan Lagoon

Hi all members,

We would like to check the response for a 2D1N trip to Bintan Lagoon for our forum members.

The date would be most likely at Feb 18-19 which the the week after the CNY holidays(I understand that many people are on block leave during that time). Please note that the cost is only valid if we have a big number.

The costs are as follow:

Room: $55++ (Twin sharing) or $110++ (If you wish to take the entire room so that your non-playing spouse may join in)

Ferry: $57.70
Express Immigration: $5
Pack lunch for both days: $30++
First game at $55
Subsequent games at $45 each.

Those who want to make their money worth can play 2x18 for both days but I personally feel that 27 holes per day is more manageable.

The cost would add up to be about 260 for 2 games and 300 for 3 games all in all.

oh my Gawd, that is awsome prices... may i ask if the room is in Bintan Lagoon resort (not the Mana Mana beach club thingy ) and golf is a choice betweenJack Nicklaus Seaview Course / Ian Baker Finch Woodlands course?

yes! staying at bintan lagoon resort itself and not those beach thingey!

And you have the Ian Baker Finch Woodlands course and Jack Nicklaus Seaview Course to choose from for all your games. You can play either course or both courses.

A typical rate by any other agency would be 300+++ for 2x18 without lunch for both days.

My little PGA champ would have just arrived and will need to play fatherly duties of tending to him. Sorry folks.

I'm also interested but can't confirm now. Most likely going alone and will have to find someone to room with. Can we play at Ria Bintan on one of the days? Would love to play there!! Its been too long. When must we confirm?

I didn't factor in the cost ria bintan. We could of course arrange it privately for those who wish to play there on the day 2 but then the cost would not be the same anymore.

but it would be a go ahead...but i do not need confirmation until later in january. But I know many ppl need to apply leave, visa etc etc so I give ADVANCE notice.

same for me, wife is EDD is in early march, although during that time, my business is close for the CNY, wife says i can go ahead without her, but must fly back if anything happens...

you would have to add 55++ which is about 60ish cos they charge by per room. Thus twin sharing it is divided by 2.

you cannot fly back. You can take a ferry or swim back!

I definitely can't join this one as I'll be away back in my home town. Bandung.

But the price is definitely very good.

Can't confirm now as need to confirm if my Ang bao $$$ enough to pay for this trip.
