Hi guys,

I just noticed that there has been a widening gap between the clubhead and the ferrule on some of my irons.

Is this a cause for worry i.e I should take it back to Golf House/Acushnet since it's still less than a year old (714 AP2s), or is this just normal for irons over time. Just wondering if it's a manufacturing/quality defect since I don't remember my previous iron set showing this so quickly.

Thanks!

Does not impact the performance.
But this does point to quality of workmanship.

Happens to my irons too. Don't worry too much. You can always push it back up. Besides, I think ferrules are more for cosmetic purposes. They don't actually hold the club head to the shaft.

Which is a little disappointing because I had good confidence in titleist when I made the purchase of the 714 AP2s over the mizunos.

My 3 wood always has this prob despite bringing to adjust... Almost have to do it 2-3 times a yr. Really a workmanship problem.
Incidentally, it's also a Titleist 910f。
