Is a Hybrid useful ?

Seiko: You'll do fine with a 5 hybrid. I had the same problem as you did.

I do find it strange that you hit a Hibore 130m? And the same Hibore you hit it 150m also? Do you mean to say you choked down on a 5 Hybrid to hit 130m?

Nevertheless, a hybrid will definitely help your game. I usually get my clubs from 2nd hand shops. They are cheaper and no pain when I skull them. Hahahaha.

Lets just say that 3i is not leaving the bag anytime soon. The great thing with it is u can opt for a hybrid shaft or an iron shaft depending on how it fits ur setup and what dist gaps u r trying to cover.

The 58s are definitely different compared to the 68s. I hit the 5 n 6 quite abit on the range and the ball flight is definitely unique to both despite having the same shafts. Sound at impact is also not the same.

Its also not a wonder club so abit of practice is required to hit these consistently day in day out.

No no! I mean based on 7 iron i hit slawenger 120mtr, hibore 7i is 130mtr. I hit Hibore 5i at 150mtr.

Ok! Noted. I have lots of clubs to practice already so no Hi Fli for me! Hahahahaha...

I'm going to test the MX-700 4H 23˚ stiff. If it does well, this will sit in my bag. Taking out the Cleveland Launcher 5H 26˚

Jam in suntec area?

The MX-700 hybrid is pretty good. It's different from the Launcher hybrid in that the Mizuno's head is bigger though getting the ball in the air is not a problem and it is quite forgiving. So... it's going in the bag

Nah. I considered a swap because my Dad wanted another hybrid. I got him started on using hybrids earlier and he liked it. So, it's more for him.

I've tried a few hybrids and will say that the Cleveland Launcher and the Mizuno MX-700s are amazing hybrids!

Nickent Golf are known for their hybrids too..

Unfortunately, Nickent's going down the tube. But I do agree, Nickent has made pretty good hybrids.

Adams also make great hybrids So it's worthwhile exploring this option too.

i have a adam's pro gold hybrid, a g15 and cleveland launcher. both the adam's and g15 are the same loft, can't decide on which is better for myself, have not hit them enough yet, will be looking to sell one of them when i do. the g15 and adam's looks good at address.

Yes definitely for my game! Personally have only 1 hybrid, a cleveland hibore. Use it for tee off, low punch shots to clear trees, getting out from roughs, chipping at times. The most versatile club in my opinion for long and short distance

Dun ever ask me to remove this club from my bag..

What about Kasco hybrids? They are highly underratted. My mates can attest, I change every club in my back except for my two Kasco K2K 44 (19 Deg) and 55 (22 Deg). The rounded sole makes it very easy to hit off literally any surface.
Back to the topic, yes, I recommend every weekend hacker to have one hybrid in their bag to bridge the distance gap between their FW and the longest iron in the bag, and to get out of sticky lies on course.
