Golf is a tough game. It requires total focus and constant playing. Tiger was very good last year. After couple of months away with Linsay Vonn, he becomes a stranger to golf- now at T59 with +5 at Doral! Anyone remember Anthony Kim? The promising young gun. Is Tiger following the pattern? The golfing world is worried.

No, I don't think so. He's just becoming like the normal Pros except that he is still drawing the corwds with his B or C game if you prefer to call it.

Seriously, TW's records will stay for a long while before the next "TW" appear. At the moment I cannot see any of the current players that can come even remotely close to match his records. The only one missing is the 5 Majors that is lacking to break Jack's record of 18. He is closing in on Sam Snead's record of 82 with 79 wins though.

I think TW is still regaining his form, still haven't peak his performance yet. Plus it's a new course with harsh conditions and different wind directions.

Nowadays it's quite painful to watch him play.

Well, he could switch careers and become a golf trick-shot celebrity.

"Nobody bounces back like Tiger Woods, as evidenced by his 6-under 66 Saturday at the WGC just one week removed from a WD." Latest report from Golf Channel

But it’s a reminder that for all of his achievements, for all of his dominance and consistency, for all of the records he’s compiled, one of Woods’ most overlooked, underrated attributes is his ability to turn things around quicker than anyone else in the game.

Been checking the leaderboard for day 1 and 2 and noticed the course was so tough, low scores were so hard to get, Tiger was climbing the leaderboard just by hanging on, not making mistakes instead of trying to make birdies.
Checked it again this morning and whoa! Tiger is climbing by attacking, switched to offensive mode. 8 birdies 2 bogeys.
Threads like this suddenly become relevant.
If his back holds up, tomorrow might get really interesting.
Makes me actually want to watch the tournament again. The Tiger effect and the reason why he is marketing gold worth a ton of money each year.

The number of birdies he had yesterday should have answered this topic.
