Anyone picking this game up for their gaming consoles? I've got 09 for the PS3, which hasn't even been played

Fairly realistic... for a video game. Decent play and graphics-wise, it's not too bad. At least that's what was in TW07 so I'm guessing that there have been improvements since.

Actually, that's supposed to be even more realistic since you actually swing something. With the other consoles, all you do is to line up, aim, adjust to match wind, direction etc, select club for distance and click a few buttons to control speed etc. That takes the realism away but what adds to it are the running commentaries, the crowd cheering, the graphics etc, all of which build the atmosphere.

Heh - my first topic.
Anyway, I just picked up TW PGA Tour 10 for the Wii and it's amazing. With the Motion Plus controller, you get great control over the ball. You can even increase backspin, play fades, draws etc. Awesome game

Oddly enough, it feels quite realistic but without the weight, it's not as realistic. That said, the wrist control is important since it guides the flight of the ball, spin etc. That part is pretty darn realistic.

Glad to help out. It's quite a lot of fun. There's even a training ground to test accuracy and distance etc. It's not a perfect game but for those who are looking for some living room golf, it's a good buy. I love the career mode. Just made some money for scoring a birdie which can be used to get new gear
