| Looks like JB clubs are more enticing in the near future. Some clubs are Freehold not leasehold. Not sure which are FH though. | |

| If e Iskandar region is open up and crossing the customs to and fro is no longer a hassle, then it's better to join clubs in jb. | |

crossing customs is always a hit and miss, for the foreseeable future even after 2040.

| It depends on how long you intend to golf as well as the revised membership prices of the clubs after the announcement from MoL ... For instance, OCC and SICC membership prices will definitely dip downsouth ... How come there is no mentioned on Raffles & Seletar Country Clubs? | |

How come there is no mentioned on Raffles & Seletar Country Clubs? Agree on the OCC & SICC part.. I won't be surprised that SICC would lose another 18 at Bukit location after 2030... Raffles lease is still running till 2028 but placed "Under Review".. Most likely scenario it'll be renewed till 2030-2040 too... Seletar lease has been renewed till 2040.. There will be less courses, and more clubs to go after 2040.. With lesser clubs (supply) and increasing number of golfers (demand), where would the prices of clubs be ??

| Laguna is pricing their membership at $170k now. Just approach their membership dept. they are actively selling their thru 2040 membership. They are returfing Masters course now and building hotel and driving range.
Last heard they are building an 18 hole putting course.
Short hitter should have loads of info

With lesser clubs (supply) and increasing number of golfers (demand), where would the prices of clubs be ?? Thanks again for the info ... This will spell the end of the journey for the potential local young and aspiring golfers who wish to turn pro to become the next Mamat Mardan let alone a Tiger Woods or a Inbee Park ... I guess those who wish to train and become a tour pro may have to immigrate to cheaper cities like Manila and/or BKK in order to realize their aspiration ... Just like those Koreans before they became a full fledge tour pro ...
