hi all,
Struggling to improve my iron n short game. i am 15 hc playing like a 25 !
New clubs are not helping , so need lessons to improve my irons n short game play.
Any coach to reccommend preferably Safra changi, mbgcc, or somewhere not too far?

Lessons on actual course.

Currently, taking lessons with Alan Kelly and highly recommend him.

took some lessons with Jason at Champions golf. Bukit Timah area. well conversed and very humble guy. Allan Murray teaches there as well. check it out!

Gone with Justin Han from Seletar earlier. Trying to correct my turn. Hitting the ball alot sweeter now. Need to internalise it n work on consistency.
Look promising, hope to work on the short game n im  prove the score soon!

Yes, I would recommend Justin Han too...nice guy..very patient.

My situation very similar to you

Also 15 hcp (playing like 24)

New clubs in the bag

Weakness is iron play

He tends to put things across simply to you, try not to over complicate

Yes hitting off the actual turf is a big difference. I may be able to hit irons off carpet, but unable to hit off turf. Allen's lesson allows me to learn while hitting from turf

Justin will improve your short game in the 1st lesson

I had 10 straight games with good chipping after attending 2 lessons

Hi. Anyone kind enough to PM me the rates for coaching at Champion, Laguna and Seletar... based on yr own personal experiences. Reckon that l probably need 5 to 10 lessons to correct some bad habits. TIA.

greenhacker - I've tried to pm you but it says I did not reach post limits. But anyways , champion ranges from 128 - 180 per hour. When I was with jason, he charges me 128 per 1and half hour and he's there all day... might sign up forvav10hour lesson with him... I've tried other coaches there as well. Seletar - there's a few coach , KimBaldwin , Justin Han , lip ooi... Not sure about price? Cause they do packages only ..

Hi bro, me & another bro r having lessons with JH at seletar. We had experienced consistent improvement & oso we enjoy his style & methodology too. Btw he has TrackMan for your statistical progress too, good luck

Yeah justin is good I am taking lesson from him too

hi golfers. I stay in the east but go to the west to look for swing correction.
my coach is from JCC. Chris Holloway. He doesn't do much but get you back to basic and your ball just fly further and straighter. that's my experience.

but in my own opinion. I think he is expensive. per hour on a 1 to 1 session is about S$150 but you sign a package of 5 will bring your lesson down to S$115

I'm having lessons with JH and he has definitely helped me with my swing.... What people don't talk about enough is Justin's short game technique... Being able to land the ball on the right part of the green with the right loft will greatly increase your chance of getting your pars and birdies

Hi Guys,
   If you are at Punggol or Pasir Ris area, I'd recommend Kamisan @ Punggol golf range. 
I've been following him for few lessons. He is very nice and very patient in coaching you to improve your swing piece by piece.

going more on budget coaching. any recommendation?
