| This story is big news here now ppl. Its on every news channel outside the Golf Channel.
Lots of the reporters, newscasters, commentators all feel that they deserve to know, that he has an obligation to the public to explain and clarify.
I guess the backlash is from Tiger dissing and lecturing the media and the kick-back is hurting him now.

Yes, it doesn't. But it also doesn't mean that he should be having these sorts of transgressions. Being a top athlete, he must know that many many many eyes are focused on him and many many many idolize him. He has to know that he is not just a fantastic golfer but a sterling role model to golfers, young and old (as well as non-golfers who are just as amazed with him). If he can cheat on his wife, what makes anyone think that he can't cheat in the sport? It's for arguments like these which is why he had to maintain a righteous life both on and off the grass.

| Michael Jordan is still ok.
Kobe Bryant is slowly rising from the ashes.
I think time will allow ppl to forgive him.
I just hope he doesn't stop at 14 becos of this.

| I'm not sad for them. I think they deserve everything they get. They are rich and powerful, and may think that they are invincible. Episodes like these will humble them. | |

| Unlikely to. Heck, Jon and Kate's controversy lasted a few good months. The news reporters are having a field day.
There's even footage of police officers taking fotos of his mansion during their hours of duty.
Now that the PGA Tour season is over, this story is filling the void till the Mercedes at Kapalua starts.

| infidelity happens to the best and strongest of people, i understand how this whole thing is a media field day, but its only because there are people who will buy papers/magazines to read about it. and that's just sad. | |

| Read somewhere before that it's the alpha male syndrome. Like JT said, anyone at the top, athletes, bizmen, politician, all prone to it, lol. Behaviorologists studied the animal kingdom and point to prides of lions, primates and such. The leader always has his pick of any female in his care. Nature's way of ensuring survival, that only the strongest and the smartest get to sow his seed and many times over for insurance n propagation.
Just look at royalty in the past too. Harems and concubines....
It's nature's way, man just decided he's smarter and decided that monogamy would work better for him. Or is it woman who quietly from behind influenced man to make him think he chose monogamy?
Man smart, woman smarter!

Ever since I saw him curse, throw the club into the bushes and storm off from the tee, I knew he was human. The questions now, however, are whether his actions were acceptable and what sort of impact it would have on his career as the world #1.

The questions now, however, are whether his actions were acceptable and what sort of impact it would have on his career as the world #1. frankly speaking..... the impact will be minimum..... as long as he apologize and do some charity..... then he can use this incident to add "fire" in him to win more major... then he will become a hero again... **anyone remb Kobe suppose to be involved in "RAPE"? what happen to him now? dun think anyone will remb tht.... Even MJ divorced his wife but he is still idolised.... too many to write, too lazy.... But to be fair, these Superb sportsmen are also target of these "innocent" gals.... but remb, it takes 2 hands to clap....
