Japan Golfing 1 (Pix intensive)

Hi fellow Grians,

As requested by some bros here, more info and pics of the course I played in Japan.

Course : Hokkiado Country Club Onuma
Total Yardage : 7,330 yards from blue tee

I paid JPY 7,400 (S$96.00) 18 holes, weekday.
Locker fee JPY315 & Insurance is JPY35.

My wife (non-golfer) paid JPY2,535 (S$32.80) for tagging along.

Temperature is a very pleasant 15 deg. The scenery is beautiful. Course is very well maintain. Green is cut really short. Quick but true.

Buggy is for 4 bags/players.

u misunderstood my msg

I meant it as a good thing. In most course in ASIA, non playing spouses still must pay full fees despite jst tagging along

I am just pleasantly surprised that Japan has this rule that non playing spouse just have to pay a portion to tag along

sometimes I do wan my spouse to tag along to enjoy the beautiful scenery on the golf course

but of cos not paying the full price

@Andrew you are right... Many times I have wanted my kids or wife to tag along and it's an absolute no.. For some public courses in US it's foc...

Happy that u guys have enjoyed the pics. No need to envy me . All u guys will hv a chance to game there, it is only sooner or later.

Like I hv mentioned b4, initially I tot it was more expensive to golf there. So hopefully, after knowing it is not, u guys will also take the opportunity to enjoy golf in Japan when u plan your holidays.

yes, i hv to agree tt it is great they allow non-playing partners to accompany us to the course. My wife enjoyed herself very much.

I always thought that golfing was one of the most expensive sports in Japan, but the green fees aren't so far fetched after all, still a bit pricey but not super expensive.

hi bro beehome, nice pictures and hope that local course can allow wives to tag along too at a lower price. it a good way to nature relationship especially when you have a good shot and there nobody else to share with but many buayas beside you...haha..joking har...can feel the buayas are looking at me now......
