| Hi friends,
i recently purchased a R7 Limited TP driver, but found the shaft to be too stiff.
Can anyone advice if you have any lobangs for re-shafting?
The shaft diameter is 0.335 and cant fit into some shafts.
Thanks in advance | |

| Hi, You can go to far east shopping centre at level 2. I think there's 2 shop there doing re-shafting. They also have 2rd hand shaft. New shaft about $170 above. I'm also using R7 Limited & i'm using Prolaunch by Grafalloy 55S. | |

| it depends on the shaft that you want.
easily $500 some for a premium Diamana Shaft
or as low as $150 for a more average-priced shaft....
no problem to fit the TP on most shaft.
I know because i have one and have switched alot of shafts btwn the heads.

| fujikura also has a huge range of shafts.
the better-priced vista pros to the Z-coms to the legendary speeders.....
it really all depends on the specs that u want and the shaft quality that you like...

| You can also incl Graman as part of yr considerations. They are very reasonably price and good value for money. | |

| andrew, i strongly suggest u to go to a clubfitter to get an opinion. unless u know what u like or have in mind what kind of specifications that you are searching for in a shaft, i would strongly recommend that you go and look for a professional clubfitter to sort you out. | |

| I tried MC's R7 Limited / Graman combo once and thought the feel was good, so I bought a R7 TP limited from ebay & got it fitted with the Graman 5 series to replicate the feel & control (shaft fitted to my swing of course) | |

| I had my S9 fitted with Graman, all going well till I play with local Pro, (he is very long hitter), but always complains it goes to high. He used it on 2 holes and it was HUGE... 16th hole at Sembawang 335 Mtres uphill, he was about 15 from the green... yes he made the birdie! Needless to say I dont have that driver anymore he wont give it back. So now I have to go back to Eric with my hat in my hand and say" please sir may I have some more"? I could make up some story how I was mugged or something...... Anyway back to the thread. Yes Graman are good shafts.... | |

| HaHaha
Thanks muar chee. Actually that was on my mind to consult a club fitter to look at my swing first before committing.
I cant drive far. bout 210 to 220. just want to have a consistent drive in the fairway and then work out and build more strength.
A stable driver is very important. Or a stable shaft

| 210 - 220 good enough lo, as long as on the fairway.
anyway, if u need club fitter to look at your swing, i think the best person to do that would be eric at BFG bukit merah.. also the best place to get Graman shafts, u will find out why when you go there...
anyway AK, i don't know if i should believe your story on the graman shafts or not.. it is not that i don't believe that the graman shaft are so good.. but u actually allowed someone to take your club and not return it?!! where's the kiwi fighter in you?!!?!?!!

| i tried the graman shaft last saturday
A dude whacked me on the face with his driver accidentally while practice swing. Laughs.
We ended up talking and i told him abt my driver.
I tried his gramam shaft and its alright. But not the flex for me.

| hmm, flex can be adjusted, depending on the way u cut the shaft and tip the shaft.
duval, my view on 2nd hand shaft, if it is properly taken out, and it is what u want, then by all means, take it.. better still, got run in before..
