- Nope ... but it's harder to play on rainy weather without gloves though ...
Not true in my experience. My earlier post reads as follow:
"I have given up glove for the past 5 years. I have better feel without the glove besides saving some money, which is secondary. I also always carry a handkerchief in my pocket. In case it rains the handkerchief come in very handy as I use it to wrap around the grip. The feel is super good as the fabric bite into the tiny grooves in the grip and is non-slip." got to try the hankie trick. thanks TDO Believe me, I tried it and it works. Even if the handkerchief is damp, it still won't slip. But please don't use the Silk handkerchiefs. Ha!Ha!

Good suggestion with the Hanley bit, thanks ... Will try that next round ... I carry powder with me ...

| Just tried it last week at the range (100 balls). Feels much better without the glove (i.e. more feel). Forces me to take my time and not rush it (in order not to perspire too much). | |

| I used to wear gloves throughout. Then I started taking them off when putting, for better feel. Later I took them off for chipping around the greens. Of late, in order to cure my hard hitting habit. I decided not to wear gloves for irons so I force myself to swing slower (75-80pct strength). I got used to not wearing gloves now. These days I play without gloves, even for driving. I do keep one in the bag for times when i have a blister or a cut. I also have a wet weather glove bought from earlier days. I do have sweaty palms, so i keep a small towel handy to wipe my hands before every swing. Funny thing is that my daughter who is 5 yr old and just learning to play refuse to wear gloves ..i think she is trying to copy me. | |

| I currently play with gloves, but I remember at least 2 games where I play without gloves (thought I had some in my bag but I was wrong) ... irons and woods ok, but driver slipped twice ...
Just wondering if any of you have tried using those badminton racquet rubber grips on your clubs if you play without gloves ...
