| Hi guys, been trying a few types of gloves but never last more than 2-3 months. Usually I go to range or green once a week.
Any cheap and good brand to recommend? Used FJ mizuno and the small box Jap brand before.
Thx. | |

| So far, among all the gloves I've tried, only 2 brands really stands out. They are : 1. Titleist Players 2. Footjoy StaSof Both are premium cabretta leather gloves and I find their performance unrivalled in both dry and wet weather. It's a little pricey though. I usually buy in bulk. Last I recall was about S$40+ for each. Even then, I think it may still last only about 3 months max for you. Once a week = 4 times a month = 12 times for 3 months. S$40 / 12 = S$3.33 per use. That's not too bad isn't it? Most tour pros use a few gloves per round! The other questions to ask are, are you gripping too tight? Are your grips worn or too small for you? Or is your style of grip wrong / unsuitable for you? | |

| I had been using the Japanese "Fit39" gloves. The fit and feel is very good. Each is quite lasting, mine lasted for about 3-4 months, regular greens (once a week) and range (several times a week) | |

| Fit39 is the best so far. Got it from creativejoe who told me that they use swimsuit material. I love it and will not change brand again. | |

| So far it's been FJ WeatherSof TX for me. Got it in Thailand for about S$14/pc - those with a removable marker. Last about 5-6 month for me - about 2 games a month on greens and 2-3 times a week on range.
Boss DG Your new gloves from NZ are those made from posum skin? Tried those many years ago and it's darn good feel & lasting | |

| Try the Slazenger Cabretta leather ones from Golf Direct. Similar feel to Titleist Players glove. $9 each, or $40 for 5 pieces. They become my 'Range Only' gloves after 4-5 rounds on the course. Serious value for money and quality. | |

| Yes the new BFG gloves are made of possum. Possum are a pest and the NZ authorities have been trying for years to made good use of them.
the Possum leather are exceptionally great for golf gloves, swim suits and other use to replace cabretta leather. the reason is unlike cabretta which is single grain, the possum like kangaroo are cross grain. the results are soft leather with better grip and last 2 and half times longer than cabretta.
we must have spent 6 months testing them and restyling and sizing them to the way we want it. the earlier samples were great but the size (length of finger, palm size) style left much to be desired.
there are 2 versions - one comes with lycra on the last 2 fingers and the other is style like Fit39 except its made of possum leather.
the final prototypes will arrive this week but the production will take another 30 days after approval.
