| Wow massagesupplies's website has some innovative tools! I'm currently using foam roller to ease my ache (left lower back towards the waist). The relief is awesome, but the ache is a rather persistent one. Even got a handheld electronic accupuncture gadget resembling those used by TCMs, not able to tell if it has any effect yet.

| go see doctor and get a scan if needed...the sore aching can last for months and years until one day its hits you...slip disc. Had a 'sore' back for years. Very sore when i wake up but its gone after i walk around a bit. like burning sensation. A bit sore after i sit too long or lie down too long. I always though its my muscle cause i sleep in aircon. Was applying heat rub and all that stuff. One day woke up, cannot walk. Had to crawl and wait a few hours until i can take small steps.
went for scan.....doctor say slip disc and 1)have to operate, 2) quit my job and 3)quit all sports including golf. Thank god i only quit my job. After a very expensive therapy and many years of limited mobility and many alternative therapy, finally i found a chinese doctor that can alleviate my pain and it worked!!!!
moral of story..seek medical help and pay to get a scan. Even Chinese doctors also see your scans!!!! dont listen to every advise from the doctors and seek 2nd, 3rd even 4th opinions. Once you get a slip disc, there is no turning back. The pain will be there forever and will get worse when u get older. There will always be relapse as well. If you can help to prevent it now do so..dont wait.

| My first ache was triggered after a fever whilst having a stiff back, the ache persisted over 2 months, went for TCM and manage to recover.
Started ranging again till one fine day after a run, I was reaching for my toes when my back "clicked" and the ache came back.
been trying to muscle rub and foam roll it out for the past 2 months
