What handicap does he play off, DGMan?

48 inch is good but long drive contest has its boundaries, no point driving long if one cannot land within the designated fairway.

Birdman was on the TrackMan yesterday and after about 100 balls, he realised that adding length to the driver is no advantage at all.

JL...Long Drive contest dont ask about Handicap. i was told they are long, even their putting is long. Get the Point?

My student won the Long Drive at The Oakley Day at Warren last week...

2nd hole par 5 hit Driver - 8 iron..... (missed the putt made birdie ) apparently 330m off tee.....

What do you get if you win long drive A new driver of course...... go figure....

Shorthitter, thats what we all heard that nite, 230m. Must have been a typo and she didn't know what she was saying.

I did see the marker splitting the middle of the fairway though, and yeah, judging from how far off in the distance it was from my drive, I'd be inclined to agree with the drive of 330 metres.

Yes, It is funny to win a new driver for the long drive contest. And the funny thing is shorthitter, it's almost always a reg flex 10.5 deg, totally usless to the winner!

He was disapointed cos on the 18th he only had to make par to break 80 1st time ever..... guess what... triple bogey. shot 82...

he is ang moh and big. i am sure he hit 330.

Oh I know how he feels believe me, it was the same for me trying to break 80 the first time, would have done it with par, easy right? I made the mistake of toting up my score at the start of the 18th, then tried to play the perfect last hole, and it was downhill from thereon, limped in with a double.... sigh....

That was years ago, and I still haven't broken 80 since.

won the callaway driver rite? cos we must use the callaway to tee-off for this hole.....

330m, freakish long, that par 5 not an easy hole too, right water, left trees, need to find fairway.........

Yes he counted score on 18 tee... then good night nurse triple bogey......

And history repeats itself. Too bad there's no magic pill for something like that.

I agree, and his bad shot is fade/SLICE so very brave with water down right... But we are working on trusting range work, mechanics at range and trust on the course... doing well till 18th the chopper!
