thats just me.... Only 3 gen?? Wa... Your standard of living very high man bro.... TW used Nike and he didn't crash... Bearing in mind these guys are professionals... Whatever grand father clubs they use, they are expected to get the job done.. Also not forgetting the amount of research, time, trials, fitting, and moulding of their specific equipment to meet their needs.. Nike, doesn't spend US$250M to let their golden goose "Crash" !!! Thus, I think RM's next 10 generations would be thanking him..

| team nike is something to watch in the future. last time they only got tiger, now rory joins him. anyway, talking back about money, the 250m nike paid to rory will have a ROI within a few years. win win solution for both. i'm sure rory wont crash at nike. he's a golfing prodigy | |

| On the apparel side of Nike I have never been a huge fan of the shoes. I have a had a few pairs that were decent, but nothing over the top. If I saw a pair that were decent looking and comfortable, I would most likely purchase in the future.
As far as the rest of the golf apparel goes, I think this is the strongest element for them on the apparel side. I have never had any issues with their shirts/shorts/pullovers/jackets, etc. They seem to last well through washings, fits nicely, and is comfortable to wear. Additionally if I am not mistaken Tiger is usually found to be one of the best dressed guys on tour over the last several years.

But the most "noticeable" to me one is Tim Clark. Gosh! Speechless i am. John Daly, R Fowler and Ian Poulter if their golf clubs don't do much talkings, they gotta create some topics.

| By quick count, 19% respondents may or will consider buying nike products because of Rory's move.
Almost 70% cant care any less.
I dont know the math behind marketing program, or whether a larger more scientific survey will show a different results...but its good to know how GRians perceive tour endorsements.

| Have always been a Nike Golf user since the day I picked up my sticks so there isn't really too much to change.
But I got to admit, the players under the Nike camp did have an influence... All the big names in golf using it. It was only much later then I came to the realisation that it is the Indian, not the Arrow.
Still, I'm sold. | |

| Nike has nice golf shirts, pants and shorts but their golf shirts tend to be on the baggy side. I never buy their golf shoes (dun like the design) or any Nike shoes (running/cycling shoes). I think they are best in their apparels .... look at Nike rain jacket or jackets... nice, I buy one almost every season. | |

| Looking at the number of fairways that Rory hit at the Abu Dhabi HSBC I will have to put the Covert down the consider list for new drivers. Only Tiger can hit the darn Nike Drivers! | |
