Rory McIlroy struggling with his Nike driver & putter

He has about two weeks to find the right driver & putter before the 3rd Major of this year commences ... He was also spotted using Scotty putter during the US Open @ Merion ...

or maybe the stress of being the top is taking a toll on him?

If my sponsor offered me $200m, I will quickly jump at the offer. Shocked

I mean, do you know how many years you have to play to win that amount of money. On top of if, since my sponsor has confidence in me winning using their brand name equipment, I would probably ask my sponsor to produce the equipment that was similar to what I was using previously, that is, the feel, weight, size, length, lie angle, heel angle, whatever, if not better. Swing

But then I am a weekend hacker, and would never, ever, be noticed by anyone, let alone the sponsors. So maybe, next life perhaps. Sad

He was World number 1 when he was using Titleist equipment
ever since changing to Nike which pays him higher endorsement fee,
he has been struggling with his iron and driver!

Titleist 913 driver is number in distant, Ap1 iron for accuracy and Scotty
Cameron Putter made him millionaire.

He was using 712MB and not AP1 when he was with Titleist ... Smile

However, Nike Inc. makes him a multi-millionaire many times more than what Acushnet could pay him ... Very Happy

cant be the equipment right? I mean Nike can do all the reverse enginnering with the money they have.....sure can come out something like983K, 909 or 910.....

Yup, agreed.

The covert does feel abit off initially.
After awhile, its no different.

But the 200million dollar weight on the back is something that no fitter can remove. Gotta get the monkey off the back
