Think your the fitter hot melt your driver head.. It's a cross between a glue and a resin which is syringed injected into the head. What you should ask and be aware of is the location of the hot melt whether it is in the heel / toe area as that would alter the ball flight for more fade / draw and overa CG weighting...

Apparently the glue might come loose after awhile (?) and end up "rattling" around in the driver. Adding hotmelt also kind of dampens the sound of the driver.

Ah, thats what it is called, yah, mine was done correctly. as i have not hit any fade or draw yesterday during my round of 18. not too sure about the sound, it doesnt seems any different to me.
yesterday round of 18, i think i only hit 2 or 3 shots off the fairway, its so much tighter than my previous game and it does help cut my score yesterday too.
As i say it before, it is not for everyone, do find a fitter and check if it is right for you.

Cheers.
