Hi , I have been having some problems with hitting my hybrid, on a course , I have no issues with iron off the turf etc, but with hybrid more than often I ended up topping it, any specific drill for me to take note ? Ball position etc?

P.S I am using a 5H

@ironstarz, if you are topping it on course, could it be because you are raised up during your follow through? I am referring to your posture hor.

The other possible reason is that the weight still stay in your right foot (for right handed golfers) during the downswing. You need to transfer the weight to the left.

It used to happen to me...

2 possible scenarios:
1. Moved your head/looked up when on course
2. Your hybrid is too 'whippy'

Best to get someone look at your swing at the range?

Yesterday I had quite a number of better shots, one is to hit it really like my iron, position of ball closer to center or maybe abt 5 inch away from left foot and swing slower with a normal tempo. The few time I top would be head movement as mentioned . Looking forward to range again to validate the swing again Smile

Remember to transfer your weight from right to left foot for right handed golfers. The rest is tempo tempo tempo.....
