yep this is really good. it'd be great fun to play over 4 days with a cut line. too bad the required HCP is so low...

Sigma, any plans to organise one for mid - high HCP? =)

We will be teeing off the competition tees just like the pros. It is over 3 days, which is the current SPGA format.

We are considering to do a qualifying series for 10 to 16 Hcp. And the top 3 will be invited. But tats is still very much under planning mainly due to cost. As for high Hcp ? There is no chance as this is tournament setup and stroke play, not the usual charity golf. Well they can come in as a sponsor for the tournament if they like our idea and be invited. But tat will cost $$$$ Cheers Jump

I was excited when reading it since I've never played Laguna until it gets to the HCP 9 requirement, ah so close yet so far away.

Kudos to you guys for planning and working on this, definitely a good thing for apsiring talent that makes the cut.

Cheers,

Once the trial is successful, and details of next year series is confirmed, we will liaise with SGA to get world ranking point. It's one of our objectives. This is to ensure we have a platform to nurture good golfers, and raise our standard in Singapore.

What is the cut-off date for registering?

Feedback: dont think you should hold it at the world classic. Ive heard even pros struggle there. Imho you should hold it at a fair course which is setup difficult. That will pose a more relevant challenge. Best of luck with the event , seems like a good initiative Beer

I too hope it's not the classic, but not up to us to decide. More info will be updated by the end of next week. Response need to be good for the series to be official , and I seriously like to see all the aspiring players to come forward.

Closing date 10th Oct.
