but i believe a 4/4 52 degree and a 3/4 PW is still different shots for different siutations, right? But for you always end up same situation wat.... "Nbz, Duffed again"

- seriously la....
I would think a full 52 would be used to red-pins as there is more room behind the flag to land and let the ball spin up front, but a 3/4 PW would be for blue pins where there are more room to land in front of the flag and let the ball roll up to the flag....
PS: My big signature now is a dig to my Arch-Nemisis. yah lah.. your above is based on using the 52 or a PW for your 3rd shot onto the par 4s. Normally, we will be using the 52 or PW just to bump the ball onto the green for those par 4s.

Ok. My normal 3rd shot, your normal 2nd shot... can? But the logic is correct, right?

the Aw is useful for your short game around the greens...
if your short game revolves a lot of bump n run, then Aw is a must.... Didn't know i am so useful... lame... but I like...

But the logic is correct, right? Action talk better than words. Word of advise for you, just put the ball on the center of the green. 3 putt is always better than 3 duffs.

Absolutely! but a lot depends on level of play & expectations of desired result ... spin and trajectory control ... shot shape ... are fairly advanced skills If I were to play devils advocate I could even go as far as saying ... don't get the AW just yet ... force yourself to learn to hit partial shots ... 9-3 knockdowns ... and once you master those ... go ahead and get the AW ... your options multiply considerably! Personally, I feel one can never have enough wedges in the bag ... more than 3/4 of my birdies originate from wedge GIR shots (either full/ partial/ pitches/ chips) ... but then theres that 14 clubs rule

| I use the 52 frequently to chip the ball in. | |
