| Maybe the thread can be expanded to the feeling of having an eagle putt ( I have yet to have) and making the first eagle... | |

| Wa.. all of you got birdies from all the nice courses. I got mine at Mandai hole 7 last year. Tee off using 5iron and landed 2 feet from hole. Putt for birdie and happy like (*(^*&^&&*^ | |

Par 3 with a big pond in front of the green and some Germans waiting for me to hit before they cross to another tee box.
Tee shot to 3 meters of the flag, I was already happy, because I used to slice a lot those days (still do...). They crossed, my buddy and me walked to the green. I putted and made birdie, the Germans saw it and were mumbling things like, damn that guy can play. After that my buddy made an easy par with 2 putts.
Both of us walked off the green with the feeling that we could conquer the world! Rest of the round probably lost 8 or 9 balls in the woods and water ;-)

I only have one eagle. It is in Surabaya Ciputra golf course, blue Par 5 hitting my 3rd shot from about 90 meter. I saw the ball flew toward the pin and saw it landed and disappeared in 3 second. I though it was hidden just behind the slope from my angle but my golf buddy and his caddy standing at another angle were screaming " Sudah masuk .. Sudah masuk " (it went in, it went in). Interesting, I felt most surprise then happy and just smile like no big deal at all. Now, please do not ask me how I played on the next hole, ok ?

| First Eagle about 4 years ago at Kranji #4 Par 4. Pulled drive to behind the halfway house on the left. Pitching wedge into the hole.
Second Eagle about 3 years ago at Starhill Bintang course Hole #11 Par 5. Played white tee, so it was a short Par 5. Driver - 6 iron - very long putt.
Since then, no such luck.

| First birdie at Bangi golf club in M'sia, a short course....i'd just started playing golf and i was still teeing off with the original big bertha seven heaven wood (as I couldn't hit a driver yet)....second shot just over the green on the fringe.....hit the putt too hard but the morning dew slowed it down as it hit the bottom of the cup......didn't know what the hell I was doing at the time........ | |

| 1st time I had a birdie was in Bintan, my first 18 holes after getting PC. What was amazing is that I got the Par 3 birdie, and immediately after a par 4 birdie! As I first time playing on the greens, I do not understand much, but my more experienced flightmates were all ecstatic for me.
Sadly, those were the only 2 birdies I ever got all my life. Haha, no birdies for the next xx holes
Maybe u can only get lucky once..

| So many of you got your birdies so early in your careers. Envy you guys. I do recall my first eagle - at Hole One of the PGA West Stadium course...using rental clubs. Thank goodness for the old Big Bertha series of irons and woods! One drive and a soft 3/4 PW later the ball disappeared in the hole...pulling it out of the hole was surreal. | |

| first birdie was bit of a downer, was my second game and was playing in legends, got a birdie was thought it was a par and was only told by the caddy a few minutes later... so the whole feeling was kinda mellowed...
first eagle was at mbgc 18 hole, hit a decent drive down the center and 3w to 3 feet from the pin... was... damn shiok feeling!!!
first albatross was in bangkok golf club.... hit a good long drive and then 8 iron to the green... turned ard to talk to my buddy and the caddy started screaming that it went in... totally missed it... damn....

| 1st Par only after I'd started on the Green for about 1 year at Legacy Golf Club in Bangkok.
1st shot was a high fade shot over a knoll. 2nd shot missed the Green and went into the greenside bunker. A recovery shot placed the ball near to the hole and a 1 putt scored a par for that hole. My first ever.
Needless to say, my flight mates got a free lunch that day.
Yet to score my birdie, but it will come eventually.... And I'm kinda outta ideas if it comes.
