OCC New Requirements on Golf Insurance

Got this from OCC. New requirements.


Golf Insurance for Non-Members
Dear Golfers,

Please note that from 15 June 2012, it is compulsory for all non-members golfing at OCC to have golf insurance and they are required to produce proof of their insurance during registration.



All members’ guests and visitors who do not have insurance must purchase it at the golfing registration counter at $5 per golfer, per round, before they tee off.



For enquirires, please contact golf registration at 6750 2111.

Suppose proof of a MGK card will suffice?

MGK membership entails a NTUC golf insurance

I would think so.. I will check with them later..

Hi guys, OCC wrote to me yesterday for confirmation on this.

As golf insurance is included for all classes of MGK membership, producing a MGK card with a valid expiry will suffice.

And since only valid members can ballot for golf passes, I will check with them to see if you even need to produce membership card or if other forms of id will suffice.

2nd is 50-50, I will conf next Thurs

(DS, which means for sure I can't play on 9th. to the Visa authority, OCC is more palatable than Johor)
