someone once told me putter and drivers are very personal things : one man's junk other man's treasure ...

Putters head : mallets , blades , 1/2 mallets and some techno funky chunky .
offsets : zero , 1/2 shaft , 3/4 shaft full shaft offset ...
necks : center , heel short neck , heel long neck (with off set )
lenght : 32,33,34,35, belly or long
grip : thin thick chunky

my personal experience
1st was a old TM TPI-21 center zero offset 33" blade : like the control hated the insert ( no feedback )
2nd was a cleveland classic 1 long neck full shaft off set blade 34": like the milled face with copper insert lotsa feel and feedback but the offset very hard to putt str8
3rd 1/2 mallet center zero off set : full milled face without insert , feed back , feel and stable all there

are you left-eye dominant?

I too am right-eye dominant but prefer centre-shafted zero offset putters.

I think that one more factor to consider would also be the weigh alignment of the putter. Various degrees of heel-toe hang, while I personally prefer face-balance.

I'm right eyed dominant but according to some of my khakis my aiming bait different from others
