- Complete nonsense! All you guys who claim this driver lets you hit longer need to have your eyes checked!
Also, who says the club is forgiving? Swing a bit harder only the shaft twists all over the place ... whippy shafts are hard to control. Stiff shafts are easier to control and more forgiving (but how come they don't sell drivers with stock steel shafts???). Real Golfers play with at LEAST Stiff Flex shafts that are heavy enough so that you can really FEEL where the club is.
Don't you guys know? Force = Mass x Acceleration, less weight = less mass = less force = less ball speed (who says lighter can move faster???? Formula 1 cars all bluff people one) and don't bother trying to explain to me that as long as the incremental (or marginal) increase in Acceleration is larger that the reduction in Mass, overall Force will still increase, I DON"T CARE!!! I SAY HEAVY IS BETTER MEANS HEAVY IS BETTER!
All of you who bought this, better to throw the club away lah ... clubs like this Cleveland Black don't give you feedback, so your swing will just get worse and worse ... BELIEVE ME!!!!!
On top of that, the club itself is F*#King UGLY!!!!!!! Streamlined Black and Silver in a Sleek Silhouette, only people with no taste will think it looks nice.
Now, if I have somehow managed to convince any of you who currently own this club to get rid of it ....
I hereby solemnly declare, that; 1) I am not a REAL GOLFER and I have the swing speed of a little girl 2) I am not talented enough to FEEL where the club is during my swing 3) I don't care about getting feedback from equipment 4) I know I am half-blind, so there is no further need to check my eyes 5) The only club I own with a stiff flex shaft is my putter 6) I have no taste
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sell your CG Black Drivers or Woods to me, and because it is such a lousy club, 10% of what you paid should be reasonable right?
TGIF Guys ... Enjoy the long weekend! *HIC*
lol nice try bro | |

| i tried the CG black 9.5* Miyazaki Stiff, two times at the range. shaft felt long and light, effortless when swinging and easy to literally whip. for me, range ball went 200m slight fade with nice trajectory, which is pretty good for me considering my TM Burner SP 2.0 10.5* Stiff slices badly.
when compared side-by-side with R9 supertri, the R9 Supertri is more consistent for me.

| i have one loan out to a friend. this driver is totally crap. too much whipping action, the ball either slices or balloons. must have a smooth swing in order to play this. only suitable for players with a swing speed less than 100mph. definitely not for hard hitters. i may consider selling if the price is right. Driver is pretty new, only twice on green and driving range. | |

I think your opinion is somewhat unfair. It may be crap to you but I've seen many golfers bomb the course with this club. The club is designed for golfers with smooth swings but even for a golfer like myself (who uses more arms than body, and is as smooth as a durian), I've hit some pretty decent shots. I'm not saying that the driver works for everyone. It certainly didn't work for you but to slam it as being "totally crap" is a tad over the line, IMHO.

| Used CG black for 2 mths or so and within that same time, the shaft became a noodle and there was a bit of vibration upon impact ...
I brought it back to a fitter and made a few changes in the hope of extending the shelf life of the driver..
1. Found that the Stock Grip GP tourlite 25 g actual weight was not as stated. It was weighed at 35 grams instead and not 25g as claimed. Changed to a MC Tourlite grip with actual weight of 26g.
2. Shaft was then respined.
Only had 2 games since I did the respining and its performing better now. Vibration has now gone and the swing weight currently at D1.5.
I did not check the swing weight prior to the changes so i wont be able to say what it is... I presume its about C9 or D0.
With regards to having smooth swings using this driver, I totally agree.. everytime I wanna kill it, I end up slicing or even hooking my drives..
Smooth swing, good release is the key for using this driver and as long as I keep that in mind, the black returned me the favour...
If you are someone who tries to murder the golf ball, its better you stay away from this one...

| My apologies. too harsh a word to use. my main issue is it's too light (265g) to offer a feedback of any kind. | |

| bought it after reading the reviews it offers a longer distance. It was at least 20m behind as compared to my R11s. Too high a trajectory and too much spin, no roll as well. That's why the 20m short. | |
