Just tested on the range and it didn't disappoint me. Hitting slightly longer than my former XL270. You definitely will not regret this purchase.....this is the best purchase by far for a low swing speed player like myself....

| This driver comes with golf pride tour 25 speciality grip weighing only 25g to bring the total weight down. Found out that the butt diameter for Miyazaki c Kua is 0.610" and the usual tour 25 grip comes with 0.600". I don't know how Cleveland did it but one of the club fitter told me the tour 25 in the market can't be fitted into the shaft.
I have email golf pride and this it what they replied: "Thank you for contacting Golf Pride. We only make that grip in a .600, in order to get that exact grip you will need to contact Cleveland directly."
So no replacement grip for this driver or got to find ways to squeeze that undersized condom in.

| Actually this Cleveland Black light weight technology is not new. Crane/ENA of Janpan have been having this light weight driver for a long time. I have one which is as light and drives just as long for only $50. | |

Crane/ENA of Janpan have been having this light weight driver for a long time. I have one which is as light and drives just as long for only $50. If it drives as long as your current Cg black, why not keep it and sell your black for more $ instead? Just curious, no offence intended.

| I sold a lot of old but good drivers because I don't like the sound. In fact I have a brand new driver selling for only $100!!! because of the sound.
You all are free to test it.

| Complete nonsense! All you guys who claim this driver lets you hit longer need to have your eyes checked! Also, who says the club is forgiving? Swing a bit harder only the shaft twists all over the place ... whippy shafts are hard to control. Stiff shafts are easier to control and more forgiving (but how come they don't sell drivers with stock steel shafts???). Real Golfers play with at LEAST Stiff Flex shafts that are heavy enough so that you can really FEEL where the club is. Don't you guys know? Force = Mass x Acceleration, less weight = less mass = less force = less ball speed (who says lighter can move faster???? Formula 1 cars all bluff people one) and don't bother trying to explain to me that as long as the incremental (or marginal) increase in Acceleration is larger that the reduction in Mass, overall Force will still increase, I DON"T CARE!!! I SAY HEAVY IS BETTER MEANS HEAVY IS BETTER! All of you who bought this, better to throw the club away lah ... clubs like this Cleveland Black don't give you feedback, so your swing will just get worse and worse ... BELIEVE ME!!!!! On top of that, the club itself is F*#King UGLY!!!!!!! Streamlined Black and Silver in a Sleek Silhouette, only people with no taste will think it looks nice. Now, if I have somehow managed to convince any of you who currently own this club to get rid of it .... I hereby solemnly declare, that; 1) I am not a REAL GOLFER and I have the swing speed of a little girl 2) I am not talented enough to FEEL where the club is during my swing 3) I don't care about getting feedback from equipment 4) I know I am half-blind, so there is no further need to check my eyes 5) The only club I own with a stiff flex shaft is my putter 6) I have no taste So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sell your CG Black Drivers or Woods to me, and because it is such a lousy club, 10% of what you paid should be reasonable right? TGIF Guys ... Enjoy the long weekend! *HIC* | |
