haha Mr lam you flatter me too much! Smile

Anyway thmejlfm, why dont you come down on wednesday when we GR-ers meet up for our newly established range session? Thats where we can all learn from each other, and if someone gives you a tip, you can test it out on the spot to see if it works.

Because every single golfer has his/her unique swing, and "I believe". So some tips work better for some or dont work at all.

My $2.65 worth!

Ok. All I want was just some comments and advises. No fighting here.

Anybody can give comments. I will see what I can absorb.

All I want is to play better golf.

Thank you Smile

My 2 cents

Let us start at your impact
You can see here you have a very high hand impact position which does not give you any leverage in your swing to create power

What Was My Mistakes?? Help!! - Page 2 Impact20

This is caused primarily from your hands being very high at set up and your body standing up too straight

What Was My Mistakes?? Help!! - Page 2 Setup12

You have not created any leverage in your wrists. This means your grip is incorrect.

As your hands start too high, they will be too high on the take away, changing the radius in your swing

What Was My Mistakes?? Help!! - Page 2 Radius10

This causes the overswing as your arms will collapse at the top. Club also across the line

What Was My Mistakes?? Help!! - Page 2 Top11

The net result of that is the club coming down way too steep. Notice how your shaft is above your shoulder

What Was My Mistakes?? Help!! - Page 2 Down10

This pushes your arms away from your body and the high hand impact position

What Was My Mistakes?? Help!! - Page 2 Down210

So to fix this, I suggest you change your set up and grip to create an angle between the shaft and arms at address

What Was My Mistakes?? Help!! - Page 2 Setup210

This would be a good place to start. From there you would need to have a pro monitor the change and continue to improve from there. Hope this helps

Fwah Beautiful advise Golf Pro! Just like straight out of swing vision analysis!

If i send you my very short video, would you do a simple analysis of your opinions for me on my swing, even though I say up front that I am not a lady.

RSC, Thank you very much for your analysis. I will try to correct it. If still cannot, will come and look for you.

BTW, how much you charge for just a few sessions?

My pleasure. If I have free time I am happy to give these analysis. It hopefully helps the GR members and also myself as a coach. The more swings I look at the more experience I gain as a coach. Win - Win!!

Time and time again, I see all swing faults in swings coming from the set up and this should be a good example to you all that your set up and grip will determine the movement patterns in your swing.

If you are in agreement, I would like you to come and see me for a Free analysis and we can use this swing as an example to GR members how by correcting your set up and grip, I can completely change the way your swing will work. I can then post before and after pictures.

This swing would be impossible to fix without the changes in set up, in my opinion. If any of the other Pros here have other suggestions, I would be interested to hear their views. There are other teaching styles and a lot say they can fix a swing by keeping the students natural swing and not changing it too much. I do not see how this is possible but would be interested to hear other opinions as I am sure you all would be.

BTW the charges are for GR members, $108 + gst per hour (Normal price $120 +)
5 hours is $510 +, 10 hours is $970+

jurongtiger feel free to post your swing video. I will be happy to give you my opinion. To the rest of the GR members, reminder that the Free video analysis is available. Just call me or PM me.

Between you, RSC, and Alan and his sidekick, I find you a more credible teacher. At least you've put out some pics and give your thoughts FOC, although I don't quite agree with the spine angle you recommended the person.

Also, would it be better if fees are paid after progress is seen rather than upfront where most quacks are notorious for doing that.

I find it discomforting that coaches do not need to attain scratch ability before they ply their trade. This is rediculous, like no need for hdcp to play the course. Maybe that's why I see pics usually of playing pros instead of teaching pros used to illustrate concepts. At least Leadbetter demo his despite his age.

My 2 cents.

Great analysis RSC. I hope themejlfm takes up the offer as I am interesting to see the effect. And any other pros to contribute in such a way would be good as well. We learn alot from this analysis

I agree with RSC on the spine angle and this may be the cause for the hands to be so far away from the body (set up). If she tries to keep the upright spine angle and bring the hands nearer to the body, her arms will still move away from the body during the back swing because the arms will be block by the body. I guess if one wants to over come this, the swing plane will become very steep...

Just the way I feel about the spine angle
