Should we putt with our hands or arms or shoulders?sometimes I'm confused

Slicer, thanks for you long advice. yes sometimes I rock my shoulder but some time the whole boat rocks!

Not only chipping/pitching, even for full swing, one should also use his/her big muscle to generate power.

holed 26 times in a row ? how far are you putting from? 2 feet or 6 feet ? (just kidding) Laughing

As for me, I putted better when I have the confidence. I keep telling myself that I am going holed in every putt. In fact, sometime. I sound out to my golf buddy " gentlemen, watch this I am going to holed this " even from a lag putt. I hardly holed it but it is nice to hear them "wow" when I left 2 - 3 inches from the holes. hehehehe

commitment is the other thing for all my short putts. I ignore green break in most of my short putt and just charge at the hole except on down slope, in depending how fast the green speed and how much breaks.

when I felt that I seems to be rocking all over the place in my lower body. I lock my leg by kicking both of my knees inward during my address.

I still remember that I pull allot on my short putt a year ago. A JB friend Mr. D taught to me to pull my right leg all the way back during my address for short putt and it solved my problem. I am still doing it sometime on the course as it does work for me.

I wish you have great feel on your putting tomorrow but do not forget to update us on your success. I am very open minded to learn if you found any nice tips to share and I will try even if you going to tell me to lift up both of my feet to putt lol!

Indeed my putting has improved this morning.
Not exactly the kind of 26 straight putt.
With the new technique there wasn't any 3 putts today.
A couple of 2 put from 30 feet.
A couple of good six footer.
A few more rounds of practicing at the practice green will do some good.

Since coming back after 12 mth lay off.
Manage to tighten my drive and putts.
Now will work on the iron-ball striking and chipping.
Thereafter, golf will be more enjoyable.

ok finally found the thread tks to seebayho.. the putting exercise is really simple to do, and works wonders for me! Thank you hybrid!!
