| Why is it we can have dedicated road lanes for ATHLETES and everyone is expected to move, but when an Amublance with a sick or hurt person comes up behind no no cares????? | |

Puzzled me also. Seems like the athletes are on emergency life supports.

This whole event thing is draining lots if public funds and resources among other things. Bad impression of it even before the actual event.

| If I'm not wrong, this is actually an IOC requirement for the host city. Usually for the normal Games, they will require one dedicated lane for their exclusive use, ie. totally closed off to other vehicles.
So, our version of giving way lane is considered a "discount" already.

| I agree, why should i have to move aside for a damn youth runner being driven around...
on the second point however, i think there is seriously something wrong with the behavior of most drivers on the road... do you think that the ambulance is rushing for fun? the road etiquette in singapore leaves much to be desired in regards to emergency vehicles...

| I've encountered a private ambulance following behind on expressway... When I change lane for him to pass... he continue to follow behind me....
maybe he can foresee I need his service soon???
and also from the same company, the paramedic asked a plaer where did he feel the pain when everyone of us can see the shin is broken into two....

This morning on the BKE towards JB, a heavy lorry, those that carries earth and not those normal long lorry I am talking about was trying to race with me at 100kmh. I was just cruising and it was just beside me. What I do?? I reduced my speed and let him win lor.. Another scene was yesterday on the AYE towards TUas.From my rear view mirror, I saw a YOG bus with the blinker lights on behind me. I was on the lane right side of the dedicated lane. Guess what I saw? A cab cut in front of the YOG bus and go leisure speed. I was laughing my socks off in my car. You know sometimes those cabby when they got customers in their cab, they go into the fast lane and drive leisurely. Have you experienced that kind of situation? I did. Many times. @%#$&^%@ !!!!!!! titu

If you ever see Vietnam's traffic and roads, like I have for the past 4 years, Malaysia would be Paradise, Even the woodlands checkpoint would look like a playground.
