can I ask about hole 8: Par 4, 450m

Say I drive 220 (usually downwind on this hole), still got 230 to reach fringe. My 3 wood is shaky but on a good shot, I can reach 200m. Chipping inconsistent, sometime good, sometime bad. My 180m hybrid shot is most dependable but my pitching is the shakiest. My 100m full swing has been money the past few games, usually pin high.

which one is better strategy for me:

1. chiong with 3 wood and hope for a greenside chip or
2. lay up with my hybrid and pitch 50m
3. lay up with 8iron to 100m and attack with my PW?

all are 3 on, and I'm favoring option no.3 rite now, but is it too conservative?

Hole 2: Par 3 is 150m (usually tail winds)
Hole 13: Par 3 is 120m (usually side winds)
Hole 15: Par 3 is 195m (usually tail winds)

hole 8 is index 1 hole, dogleg right with the turning at 200m mark, OB left water right from there to the green, and there's a bunker in front of the green, right in the middle, green slopes from front to back

play your approach which has the highest chance of holding the green

ya, since it's only a practice game. I will play two balls on this hole and and hole 14. Lay up to 50m and 100m. See which one I'm most comfortable with.

for hole 14, aim your tee shot away from the bunker cluster, since you're already prepared for 3-on, you'll have a longer second shot, but no worries cos no OB or water

He didn't play well the last time I paled with him there although he say mbgc is ikan bilis to him. It's either he tarek on that day or he wasn't the last guy to hit the 2nd shot so he not used to it.
