Hello,

Just to say hi, have just joined the forum....... age in early 6ties and trying  to break ninety (for my game).

For those who happened  to be in Phuket later this month, below is a good deal for your info (search LochPalm, Phuket, Amazing Thailand Friendship Cup).

Not sure about LochPalm and Red Mountain in Phuket, but had played at Riverdale in Bangkok and was impressed by its management, course layout and condition (one of the best that I had played in Bangkok).
Riverdale (in Bangkok), LochPalm and Red Mountain (in Phuket), are under the same company/management.

Normal walk-in green fee (excluding caddy[@400 bahts] and buggy[@700 bahts]....which are compulsory) are 4800 bahts and 6000 bahts for LochPalm and Red Mountain respectively. Based on the url, a tournament game of 10000 bahts for a flight of 4 players is quite attractive. Also, had checked with the organiser, green fee at Red Mountain (with the mentioned voucher) is only 1500 bahts (caddy and buggy not included)........... ENJOY!

Welcome to the forum.
Thanks for info!

Played at Riverdale before.
Challenging course and definitely one of the more memorable ones for me with character.
Every green is unique.

Hullo
Thanks for sharing
Both Loch Palm and Red Mountain share the same plot of real estate

RM is better kept, feels like pte club, condition and layout is superb

LP has a more municipal club feel, condition is good but not as good as RM

If anyone is going, play LP first then RM, so you can build up your expectations

Yes, especially the 8th's par 3 where you can choose between the small island (about 100 yards) or hilltop's plateau (about 190 yards) greens.

I chose the small island, so tempting and ended up in the water Very Happy
