Where is the best golf simulation centre in Singapore and why?

Dear all,

Recently, I am seeing a lot of golf simulation centres appearing all over the island. There are some centres that offer drinks; provide coaching; allow you to practise in private etc.

I am just wondering which is the best golf simulation centre thus far and why e.g. is it the price, ambience or services etc. Please feel free to share your comments or even personal experiences practising at these centres...

I have tried MaxSwing golf at Orchard Central a few times liao, they have the Callaway FT-IZ clubs and are located near my workplace, so .....
price is 60buck per hour....they do have a coach i think. drinks and beer is available if u lose a round Smile

the other one I went to is CityGolf at One Raffles Place, the view is sweeee. they have a lunch promotion where u get to play one hour for 75 bucks and come with free one bucket of beer or two set lunches.

There is also swing perfection at Killiney Road.

Wonder when they start seeing the 'light' and start getting bikini caddies at those places... ^^

I could write an essay on this ...

It really depends on what you are looking for, ambience, space, accuracy of system, nice graphics, attractive wait staff, free parking ... list goes on.

End of the day, go to each one at least once and judge for yourself I guess.

Been to a few of them. Favorite is swing perfection at killiney. Very spacious.

yes they have clubs for you to use...... mostly callaway clubs

Vgolf located at Plaza by the Park (next to Bras Brasah MRT). They have once of the most intuitive direct putting setups and terrain simulation.

You may have ball above feet or ball below feet etc.. depending on your previous shot.

Been to swing perfection at killiney road.
very spacious but since thats the only simulation centre i been to, i cant really compare.
But to me, very comfortable at least for my wife as well who had to spend the 2 hours looking at me hit the golf balls.
They have 3 bays to play from together with 2 private rooms for the shy ppl.
Think they have something like the trackman to analyse your golf swing. Theres one bay with a camera in front of you to capture your swing on video as well.
For all other bays, the computer will indicate your swing spead, distance, swing path and spin rate to name a few.
The distances were pretty accurate to me. The simulation was pretty realistic and you can even hear birds chirping or waves hitting (u willl notice it when someone else is hitting his shot)
putting was abit tricky for me though. Not too sure if its the same for all other centres.
Its 4 m to the screen and so you need to gauge your strength for this 4m prior to the ball moving forward from then on. but with a little practice it should be ok.
I believe they carry nike clubs ranging from cavity back to blades. i was kiasu so i brought my own clubs anyway =)

they have a bar there (always a good thing) and you can order food from any of the eating places along killiney road and you can have it in within the centre itself.

As for eye candy...hmm..for the guys, if you are lucky there could be some OLs hitting the place after work. When i went there there was one.

for the ladies...you can look for their resident pro. In my wife's (and mine) opinion he's pretty good looking. Think she remembered that he was featured in Cleo's 50 most eligible bachelor.

anyway, overall a great place to hang out with frens for a rd of fun golf.

CityGolf or Urban Fairways - only sim worth playing is Full Swing, the korean sims are no good IMO Smile

While full swing may be the better known simulator, i think you should try Golftek's technology first-it's american as well. They are the company that invented the swing analyzer- the accuracy is incredible.
