Ball Flight / Launch Angle / Ball Height at peak

Just to check on somethings.

I am using a Cobra ZL Stock Shaft R Flex

The question is this.

I am a regular user of the Srixon Soft feel ball and when tee off with driver, I get an average ball flight in terms of height and it dosent "ballon". However, I recently tried the taylormade Penta and it gives me an incredible height. About 30% higher (Estimated by the naked eye) now here comes the strange part, no major lose in distances. +/- 5 yards. And this issue only happens when using my driver, for my irons, not much difference in the height of the ball flight.

Can anyone enlighten me on this?
