changing standard shaft to aftermarket shaft - advice needed Empty
PostSubject: changing standard shaft to aftermarket shaft - advice needed   changing standard shaft to aftermarket shaft - advice needed I_icon_minitimeFri Jan 06, 2012 10:00 am

was reading up on how much difference a custom shaft makes compared to a standard shaft that comes with the driver.

i'm using 909 dcomp 9.5deg with s-flex default shaft.

i am quite happy with the performance, in general. when i have a good hit, its straight. when i hook or slice, its the indian not the arrow that's at fault.

just wondering if changing the shaft will give me a little more distance and feel compared to standard shaft. I guess my question is, is the difference between standard and aftermarket shaft night and day? will I be able to feel the difference , or is it possible that i can't tell any difference, cos i'm still too lousy or inconsistent?

i typically play between 90-105 depending on the day. usually at occ or nsrccc.
