Joking aside, I agree, better to say 'no' now unless you are 100% sure Otherwise go thru divorce and splitting assets later, worse off, waste of everyone's time

I maybe wrong.. but I was thinking the right way for the girl to handle the situation is to take the ring and rush the guy off somewhere private first and tell him.
Of course it may backfire when she takes the ring and the guy immediately sweeps her off the feet and declares to the whole world his new wife. . that will be a WTF moment.
Feels like a two on par 5 and 4-putt for bogey moment

I feel sorry for the guy.
