I am currently using steel shaft (harrison I think about 110 gm) on blade.
My left elbow is quite sore after every practice (I am right handed). Each practice at the range (either on turf or mat) lasts about 4 hrs hitting as many as 400 balls.
I wonder if changing to a graphite shaft would alleviate the soreness, or probably I should have a shorter duration for each practice and hitting fewer balls. There is no such problem playing on the course.
Anyone has similar experience?

Wow! 400 balls for 4 hrs. 200 balls my hand already sore.
Think need to see pro... It's the quality of practice not qty.

Its pretty scary to hit 400 balls in 4 hours.... thats a ball in less than a minute.... if you can hit 80% good shots at that speed, dun think you need to practice.

I had the same problem..... I change shafts.... didn't really help until my coach told me its actually my swing problem.
