it feels like a putter with silencer on, the feel is soft, mild as compare to SC Newport 2... the latter is crisp, feel sharp and redundantly huge... i'm afraid SC will become the first casualty in 2012... Short update. Made the longest putt I've ever made today. Slightly downhill, breaking left to right by about a putter grip. The caddy knew his line well. I just trusted his chosen line and fired the KM350. I paced it out afterwards, almost exactly 10 paces. Never came close to doing that before.

| Another short update, the 5 iron did so well out of the rough yesterday, I'm thinking, why am I carrying all those hybrids?
So, part 1, take out 20 deg A12 (sorry A12, but we'll always be friends), put in the 4 iron.
If that works, part 2, take out the 18 deg Pro Black (we may be apart, but you'll always be in my mind), put in the 3 iron.
Part 2 will be harder to do because the Pro Black is money at 200m, dry course, hard fairway. Whether by carry or by roll, via fairway or bouncing on the buggy track, through grass or rough, it will get there. But I've got a gleaming 3 iron waiting for me...

| I don't think I've ever posted on this thread, not being a Miura person myself. But I had the fortune of trying out the Miura CB-301 yesterday and damn, was it sweet!! I'm sure the shaft had a factor to play but it definitely felt pure and delicious I can understand why people would pay so much for such irons. Very very nice. Out of my budget but certainly, something worth aspiring to. | |

Hi, there isn't any forum per say. There is however SSN every Wed night in MBGC and if I happened to be there, you are welcome to try out the club that I have. Cheers,

I can understand why people would pay so much for such irons. Very very nice. Out of my budget but certainly, something worth aspiring to. Hey TS, Best thing about cutomised clubs, u pay for what u need, so for example, if u get the following set: Irons: 6, 7, 8, 9, P Wedge: 50 or 52 Cost will be about $2k (slightly more or less depending on shaft choice) Chances are that you will not change irons for at least 5 years (maybe even longer), so $2k over 5 years. There are many people who have spent more than that buying off the shelf clubs that do not suit them and then spending money to modify. Also, there is no longer any chance of being poisoned by new models of iron sets, so it will probably save you money. Give yourself a treat, get a set, you won't regret it.

| Actually, I'm just looking for 5-9. They were very nice. I was quite surprised. I love the forged feel which come with the Mizunos, but the Miuras had a even softer touch.
But realistically, I'm more keen to work on my swing right now. No point spending $$$ on new gear while I'm still playing like a monkey.
I have always believed (even though I try to deny it) that a good golfer is judged from a good swing and can hit a good shot using the most plain of equipment. A golfer with a terrible/inconsistent swing can use the best equipment but will (sadly) produce rubbish results.

However, as mentioned in the other thread "Equipment and the state of Golf", you might want to check the lie angles on your current clubs. Good Luck!

I am a happy beginner learning from blade... occasionally heng heng pure an iron shot, wah! sibei song ah!

I have a daily coach... but that depends if my son prefers to watch Ni Hao Kai Lan on TV. If not, it's Channel 213 baby! I'm thinking of going back to getting coaching too. Maybe I can convince Shorthitter to take me under his wings
