Ask Stanley, Torque. Lee, I think you should just come visit Stanley and get some gift from him for starting this tread / 'craze'. Haha... At the same time, being the 'spokesperson', ask him to organize a little golf challenge at Laguna for miura golfers! Hows that?

The little tournament would be an excellent idea. I think all the owners somehow become spokespersons because of how good the clubs are, not just me you see. And bro, looking at all the stiff shafts you use, a LE small blade would be a nice way to deliver your powerful swing, CB501 is very good too, but I promise you, you will not feel any better iron than that. I think for you, a 3iron easily 210-220m or more.

| Not now Lee... I'm enjoying my cb501... maybe one day I will go for a mix set (with blades for my short irons) I do not use 3i... I prefer hybrids. Go try the MG HB3. Sweet! | |

| I'm most likely going down this weekend to try the hybrids.
I also feel like taking the shaft off of my 4iron and display the club head in my room. Crazy, I know.

Am sure the hybrid is sweet. But I love the feeling of a flushed 3 iron bro.... Makes my PX 6.0 feel like GRAPHITE! Nice! If thats the case, out of curiosity, why do you still hang on to your ADAMs hybrids? Haha... You are ABSOLUTELY right. Every time I flush one 3 iron down to the end of the range, I look at my two lovely Adams hybrids with a tinge of regret.... But then again, the Adams Pro Black hybrid, notoriously difficult to launch, was the club that paved the way to the blades. I figured if I could launch that Pro Black, I can game blades. And proven right subsequently. So, I think very soon, I'd be retiring the two hybrids, as soon as I put in some more air time for the 3 iron. You're right. What a pity, those are two lovely hybrids on two lovely shafts.

| so far I've ditched my 3 hybrid (first to go with 4 iron on MP-68), and then now I've ditched 5 wood (got to go make room for 3 iron). Next evolusion would be ditch 4wood and replace it with 3 wood.
The golf bag getting leaner and leaner. Just bunch of iron shafted clubs and 2 graphite.

| On WITB, from what I'm going through now, I'm looking at something like this: Current : 1D, 3w, 2x Hybrid, 4i-Pw, 2 wedge, Putter Future : 1D, 3w, 3i-Pw, 3 wedge, Putter The change: Focus on <100m approach accuracy If 3i hitting 180m consistently, should be more than enough to cover any 2nd shot for GIR+1... what you guys think? | |

| in my opinion
using a 3h instead of 3i will give u more consistency..
using 3h will also give u advantage on roughs or slopes and 180m-190m to pin.. 3i may not be strong enough..
if i can have my way,
i will get the miura giken on matrix 3h...

| If I am on slope or rough, I will not attack pin hybrid no hybrid. Specially on well guarded green and when I am ahead on betting. But seriously prefer to hit longer club if really need the distance which is either hybrid or wood, but those occasion are very rare if drive is good.

| Wah ... this thread moves like a 4 cylinder small engine fitted with a big laggy turbo and NOS ... silent for while but when it moves it flies! Time to add my 2 cents worth. Dmateo, trust me, just get the Miura Wedges, whether or not your game improves because of them is another story, but you will never regret it. I watched JL hit pitch shots with my wedges and they launched with more precision than her own clubs, both direction and distance. Shows what they can do in the hands of a very good player. ljlow, happy that you like your LE blades bro. My +10 shots comment related to my own experience, I was shooting low to mid 80s b4 my Miura, went to high 80s to mid 90s after I first bought the CB-501. I had to work really hard to learn how to use them properly. Now I think I can use them adequately, however, unlike Lee, no 10 stroke improvement for me. I am sort of back where I started. (Please note these are all white tee scores. +10 strokes if playing from Blue). But I definitely enjoy hitting my irons more than before! On 3 hybrid vs 3 iron, I still firmly believe swing speed is a factor. If your swing speed is not sufficient, even if you catch a 3 iron well, it will not fly the appropriate distance, a 3 hybrid will. However, practicing with a 3-iron might help you develop a quicker swing speed, as in Lee's case. So, chicken and egg I guess. I have now owned my Miura's for about 1.5 years. Only recently has the 6-iron gone back into my bag. My 28deg hybrid (6 iron replacement) is still around though. From deep rough, I feel more confident with the hybrid. Also, to intentionally top a shot into the wind, the 6 hybrid is a lot more reliable and consistent than the 6 iron. However, over the weekend, I had 3 chances to use the 6 iron, 2 from fairway, 1 from light rough, and I was pleased with all 3 results. 1.5 years to learn how to hit a 6-iron! I am seriously filled with envy when I read and see you guys striking 3 irons well. I have sort of given up on that concept. Not to mention that with my driver swing speed at less than 90mph, I can't even launch a 3 wood optimally, let alone a 3 iron. On a more positive note, now that the 6 iron has made its way back, I look forward to the day I can make decent contact with my 5 iron. Just last night I took it out of the storeroom and put it back into my practice bag. In the meantime, we will all practice diligently. You guys to replace your hybrids with 3 irons, myself to launch a 5 iron in a half decent manner. Good Luck to all! p.s. Generally in golf, the longer you hit the ball and the skinnier your iron, the more strokes you have to give, so please don't forget to give me a bit of chance when we play ok? | |

| I think we need another round of meet up again.... To finalize all our items... Hahahaha. The boss of the shop is smiling at me....$$$$$$$$$$
Hi all members of M.C.A ,I would like to propose we meet up every last friday of the month.
Location tentatively at laguna driving range, but can be changed occasionally. For me I would like to have a game with fellow MCA before the meet -up session each month.
Those keen on this idea, pls put your name down, or if you have better idea, pls suggest.

Bro Lee36328, you are invited for the first game and meet-up session on 28 october. You can't say no now. Details will be informed later. I would love to, but no promises yet. Actually, there is a chance I may have to relocate... for a new job... which might be based in.... Singapore! But, still in discussion, so nothing firm yet. So, begging the pardon of all my fellow Miura maniacs, let me see where I end up settling down work-wise, and I would be sure to make the following meetup after that for sure.
